Queerly Criminal

Grindr has become a go-to hook up app for many of us in the queer community. Unfortunately it has also evolved into a market for criminals looking to take advantage of "easy targets", people they believe can dehumanized and attacked for being different. This is the story of two gay Asian men, targeted on Grindr, before being robbed and murdered by two killer cousins.

Police brutality against the queer community has often gone ignored and unreported. James Clay Jr. was a black man who identified a crossdresser, and was targeted by police largely because of his bold queerness, as well as fact that he was a sex worker. One night he was hunted down and brutally murdered by two police officers he had encountered earlier the same evening.
